Account Coordinator (Public Relations)

Account Coordinator Responsibilities
- Drive media results through outreach and creative story ideation
- Produce written content (we’ll want to see samples)
- Support the reporting of results (via trackers and coverage reports)
- Source and support execution of client speaking engagements, awards, etc.
- Conduct industry, competitor and client research
- Prepare materials to prep spokespeople for press opportunities
- Research and develop media lists
Account Coordinator Skills & Qualifications
- At least 6 months of PR agency experience (through Fellowship, internship or other role)
- Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, journalism or similar focus
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects
- A creative mindset
- Brilliant writing skills
- Hard worker with appetite for growth and advancement
- Social media savvy
- Solid Powerpoint/Google Sheet skills
- Proficiency in media reporting tools i.e. Cision, MuckRack, etc.

Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and education or certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications. Salary ranges for this position are between $55,000 and $65,000 annually. SBS also offers additional compensation programs such as annual cash bonuses and generous benefits.
